Outlook

Plant, ranked fourth in 2A, sixth in the state and 28th nationally by MaxPreps, has won three straight district titles and has not lost a county game in four years. The Panthers also are playing in the state semifinals for the second straight and are trying to reach the final for the first time. They have a veteran lineup that includes three players — Turner Ashby (Air Force), Ryker Demarest (Vermont) and Hayden Stoltzfoos (Vassar). St. Thomas Aquinas is ranked first in the class, third in the state and 11th nationally by MaxPreps.
