Here are the nominees for the Hernando County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Solaris Genberg, Sr., Hernando: Ended up going a combined 6-for-12 with six RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Mitchell, Cypress Creek and River Ridge.  

Morgan Knott, Jr., Hernando Christian: Went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored in a win over First Academy. 

UTIL Reagan Lanning, Jr., Springstead: Had a combined three hits, including two doubles, and two RBIs in wins over Bishop McLaughlin and Sunlake. 

3B/SS Izzy LaRoche, Jr., Nature Coast: Ended up going a combined 5-for-7 with a double, a homer, six RBIs and three runs scored in wins over South Sumter and Sunlake. 

C/SS/3B Taylor Laviano, So., Weeki Wachee: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Anclote.
