Pinellas County baseball player of the week – April 25-29

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County baseball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday

OF/P Jacob Green, Sr., Hollins: Had two of the Royals’ five hits and drove in the only run of the game to beat Dunedin in the Pinellas County Athletic Conference championship game. 

P Jayden Harriel, So., East Lake: Threw 5 ⅓ scoreless innings, allowing three hits and recording four strikeouts, on the mound and went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs in a win over Wiregrass Ranch. 

UTIL Jacob Riegel, Sr., Palm Harbor University: Hit a walk-off grand slam in a win over Largo. 

P/OF/1B Amai Rivera-Martinez, Sr., Northeast: Was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double, a homer, three runs scored and two RBIs in a win over Palm Harbor University. 

UTIL Cameron Salter, Sr., Northside Christian: Went a combined 5-for-7 with two runs scored and an RBI in wins over Jefferson and Clearwater Central Catholic.
