Here are the nominees for the flag football team of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday.

Alonso: The Ravens beat Armwood 14-6 in the Class 2A region quarterfinals and routed Hillsborough 38-6 in the region semifinals to extend their win streak to 10 heading into Monday’s region final. 

Newsome: The defending 2A state champions cruised in the first two rounds of the playoffs, beating Bloomingdale 34-12 in the region quarterfinals and Orlando Dr. Phillips 35-14 in the region semifinals heading into Monday’s region final.  

Robinson: The defending 1A state champion Knights have dominated the postseason, cruising to victories over Parrish Community (46-6) in the region quarterfinals and Chamberlain (33-0) in the semifinals heading into Monday’s region final. 

St. Petersburg: After starting 1-4, the Green Devils have won 10 of their last 11 games, including a 15-13 victory over Gibbs in the region semifinals that avenged two previous losses to their rival.
