Hillsborough County softball player of the week poll — May 2-5

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.

3B/SS/P DaNia Brooks, Jr., Sickles: Threw a three-hitter with 11 strikeouts in a semifinal win over Gaither and drove in the lone run of the game in a win over Mitchell in the Class 6A, District 5 tournament. 

OF Lola Coole, Fr., Strawberry Crest: Went a combined 6-for-10 with two runs scored, an RBI in wins over Wharton and Wiregrass Ranch in Class 6A, District 6. 

P Ariyuanna DuPont, Jr., East Bay: Ended up going a combined 6-for-6 with three runs scored in wins over Braden River and Sumner to take home the Class 5A, District 12 title. 

2B Olivia Feldman, Jr., Newsome: Went a combined 4-for-6 with a double, four runs scored and two RBIs in wins over Plant City and Riverview to help the Wolves take home the Class 7A, District 6 title. 

P/UTIL Daijah Madrey, So., Jefferson: Threw a combined six scoreless, no-hit innings in wins over King and Hillsborough to lead the Dragons to the Class 5A, District 9 title. 

INF/P Holland Poe, Fr., Berkeley Prep: Went a combined 4-for-7 with a double, a homer, six RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Tampa Catholic and Academy of the Holy Names for the Class 3A, District 9 title. 

P Kohana Pousson, Jr., Robinson: Tossed a three-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a win over Lake Region in the Class 4A, District 11 title game. 

OF Emma Silva, Sr., Bloomingdale: Went 3-for-3 with two RBIs in a win over Palmetto in the Class 6A, District 7 title game.
