Here are the nominees for the Hernando County baseball team of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Central: The Bears reached the final of the Class 4A, District 5 tournament with an impressive 11-1 win over No. 2 seed Citrus. 

Hernando: The Leopards, the top seed in the Class 4A, District 5 tournament, beat Crystal River 6-3 in the semifinals and Central 1-0 in the final to take home the title. 

Hernando Christian: The Lions beat First Academy in the semifinals of the Class 2A, District 5 tournament before losing to Mount Dora Christian in the final. 

Nature Coast: After squeaking by Tarpon Springs with a 4-3 victory in the semifinals of the Class 4A, District 6 tournament, the Sharks routed Hudson 13-1 in the final to take home the title. 

Springstead: The Eagles beat Clearwater 10-8 in the quarterfinals and knocked off Fivay 5-3 in the semifinals to reach the final of the Class 5A, District 5 tournament.
