Pinellas County baseball team of the week poll — May 2-6

Here are the nominees for the Pasco County baseball team of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Calvary Christian: For the third time the Warriors knocked off rival Berkeley Prep, the last coming with a 3-0 victory in the Class 3A, District 6 final. 

Clearwater Central Catholic: The Marauders, who lost to Berkeley Prep in the Class 3A, District 6 semifinals, made the playoffs with a 15-11 record. They have more wins this year than in their previous two seasons combined. 

Dunedin: The Falcons were dominant in the Class 4A, District 7 tournament, beating Chamberlain and Robinson by a combined 20-0 in the semifinals and final to take home the title. 

Hollins: A week after winning their first conference title since 1991, the Royals won their first district title in 30 years. In the 5A-8 title game, the Royals battled back from a 4-2 deficit to beat Seminole 5-4 in 10 innings. 

Keswick Christian: The Crusaders avenged a loss to Northside Christtian in the regular season by beating their rival 6-0 to take home the Class 2A, District 9 title. 

Northside Christian: The Mustangs beat Shorecrest in the semifinals of the Class 2A, District 9 semifinals before losing to Keswick Christian in the final. 

Seminole: The Warhawks beat Dunedin late in the regular season before losing the 5A, District 8 title game to Hollins in 10 innings.
