Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County softball team of the week from the region quarterfinals. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Calvary Christian: Trailing 3-2 after three innings, the Warriors broke the game open with five runs in the fifth in a 11-3 victory over Frostproof. 

Canterbury: The Crusaders went up 10-0 in the first inning en route to a 15-0 win over Indian Rocks Christian. 

East Lake: The Eagles got all of their runs in the first inning as they cruised to a 4-1 win over Venice. 

Northeast: The Vikings continued their dream season with a 3-2 win over Sumner. 

Osceola: The offense exploded for 16 hits in a 17-5 win over Jefferson. 

Seminole: Solid pitching was key in the Warhawks’ 7-1 win over St. Petersburg.
