Outlook

Greg Climan took over the program from Antony Smith, who left after two seasons. Climan becomes Anclote’s third coach in the past five years. He inherits a program that went 1-8 last season. On offense, the Sharks have to find a replacement for quarterback Quinton Moore, who had 1,368 total yards (600 passing, 768 rushing) and 14 touchdowns (six passing, eight rushing) last season. Paul Fousek and Isaiah Stewart are battling to take over as the starter. Whoever emerges will have playmakers to help the transition, including Dominic Marrotta, who finished with 217 yards and three touchdowns last season. Noah Beery (team-leading 38 tackles) and Jason Davis (15 tackles and a sack) are among the returners who will headline an improved defense.
