Two weeks ago, Joey Jaime, an assistant with the program, was promoted to head coach. He takes over for Patrick Murphy, the former Sickles coach who decided to step down five months after getting the job. Creating some stability will be one of the keys for Jaime. He also has to work the hallways to find some depth to help replenish a thin roster. Vincent Small, who transferred from Leto, will lead the offense at quarterback. Though the defense lost some playmakers who transferred elsewhere, the unit should still be a strength with Jamison Ward Jr. headlining the linebacker corps and Carlos Brutus and Jakeh Palmore patrolling the secondary.
