Outlook

Cypress Creek has some momentum after winning two of its final three games last season. On offense, the Coyotes have to replace their leading passer (Owen Walls), leading rusher (Kione Roberson) and leading receiver (Dontrell Clerkley), all of whom graduated. Jack Niemann takes over at quarterback. He has a dependable target in Dylan Lolley, who is getting looks from colleges. Others who should have bigger roles as receivers include Milton Gracia and Shawn Smith Defensively, Cypress Creek has to tighten up after giving up more than 40 points in four games last season. Logan Falk (65 tackles, two sacks a year ago) and Smith (32 tackles) will be counted on as leaders on that side of the ball.
