Outlook

Hollins coach Dale Caparaso has already announced that this will be his last season. First-year Royals assistant Jason Stokes, who previously served as head coach at Bloomingdale, Gaither and Pasco, was named the coach-in-waiting. Expect Hollins to feature a heavy dose of the ground game on offense. After all, the Royals have some size – and experience – on the offensive line. That group up front paved the way for Hollins to put up big numbers in the spring against St. Petersburg Catholic. In fact, Caparaso said his quarterback might throw the ball 50-60 times all season. On defense, the linebacking unit will be a strength with Micah Barth, Mike Carpenter and Joel Houedenou all returning.
