Outlook

Seffner Christian has made the playoffs four straight seasons. It will be challenging to keep that streak considering the Crusaders are now in a district (1M-2) that includes Cambridge Christian, Carrollwood Day and Clearwater Central Catholic. But the Crusaders have the talent to compete. Jordan Magood is one of the top quarterbacks in the district – and the area. And Tyrek McCant (737 rushing yards, 112 receiving last season) can be used in a multitude of ways. Seffner Christian also got a boost with receivers Odarius King (Sumner) and Johnny Mathis Jr. (Riverview) who transferred in from other schools. Billy Nofsinger anchors the offensive line. On defense, Soloman Williams is a ferocious rusher who is turning into anelite prospect. Otis Grant, a transfer from Jefferson, will help out on both sides of the line.
