Here are the nominees for the Pasco County defensive player of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

S Braden Cook, Sr., River Ridge: Finished with 10 tackles and a forced fumble in a win over Countryside.  

LB Matt Hensley Jr., Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Recorded eight tackles and two sacks in a win over Wesley Chapel. 

LB Kevin Marks, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Had 12 tackles, a forced fumble and a blocked punt in a win over Hollins. 

LB Coy Martin, Jr., Cypress Creek: Finished with seven tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in a win over Sunlake.

DE Anthony Pratt, Sr., Pasco: Ended up with seven tackles, a sack and had a fumble recovery in a win over Fivay. 

S/WR Maddox Rivera, Sr., Zephyrhills: Recorded three tackles and picked off two passes in a win over The Villages.
