Home-field advantage can be beneficial, especially with a raucous student section. In the Tampa Bay area, there are plenty of loyal and rabid fan bases among high schools. Now it’s time to decide which one is the best.
Last year, Bloomingdale finished first among a list of 16 area schools that came from nominations on social media.
This year, we’re taking a different approach.
The lists are done by county with the top vote-getters moving on to the sweet 16. We start off in on the West side of Pasco County, which has plenty of enthusiastic supporters. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday
