Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County volleyball player of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

RS/OH Lydia Chinchar, 8th, Carrollwood Day: Finished with a combined 111 kills and 40 digs in leading the Patriots to a 7-1 record last week. 

OH Pamela De Jesus, Jr., Riverview: Recorded a combined 43 digs and 42 kills to lead the Sharks to a 5-1 record last week. 

RS/S Nakia Reed, Jr., Sumner: Ended up with a combined 148 assists, 46 digs, 12 kills and 12 aces in leading the Stingrays to a 5-2 record last week. 

OH Kinsley Warbritton, Sr., Academy of the Holy Names: Named MVP at the Florida Gem tournament after recording a combined 36 digs and 31kills in five matches to help the Jaguars go undefeated and take the team title in the gold bracket of the open division.  

MB Brooklyn Zajac, Sr., Strawberry Crest: Named to the all-tournament team at last week’s Warrior Invitational.
