Here are the nominees for the Pasco County volleyball player of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

S/RS Ava Connors, Sr., Mitchell: Finished with a combined 37 assists, 15 kills and nine digs in sweeps over Cypress Creek and Pinellas Park. 

MH/OH Chloe Danielson, Sr., Wesley Chapel: Led the Wildcats in kills and helped them take the silver bracket in the open division at the Florida Gem tournament.  

OH Bella Horruitiner, Jr., Land O’ Lakes: Ended up with a combined 72 kills, 39 digs and 16 aces to lead the Gators to a 6-1 record last week. 

MH Kendyl Okin, Jr., Sunlake: Her presence at the net helped the Seahawks take the bronze bracket in the open division at the Florida Gem tournament. 

MB Makayla Way, Sr., Fivay: Set the school record for most career kills, which now stands at 849.
