Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County football team of the week, sponsored by the Army. 

Berkeley Prep: After losing their season opener, the Buccaneers have bounced back with two straight wins, including a 40-7 victory over West Port last week. 

Carrollwood Day: The Patriots have survived their brutal early season schedule by winning two of their first three games, the last a 42-28 victory over Carrollwood Day.  

Leto: With their 19-12 victory over Freedom, the Falcons have now won two straight for the first time since 2007. . 

Steinbrenner: The Warriors, who lost their first two games, got back on track in a big way, beating Plant City 52-14 

Sumner: The Stingrays remain undefeated after rolling past previously unbeaten Jefferson 49-6. 

Wharton: The Wildcats defense scored twice in a 47-6 victory over previously undefeated Gaither.
