Here are the nominees for the Hernando County football team of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Central: The Bears, who were winless last season, beat Anclote 44-8 for their third straight victory in their Class 2, District 11 opener in the Suburban Division. 

Nature Coast: The Sharks rebounded from a loss to Nature Coast to beat Hudson 31-13 in a key Class 2, District 11 contest in the Suburban Division. 

Springstead: The Eagles kept their perfect record intact with a 45-14 victory over Sunlake in their Class 4, District 6 opener in the Suburban Division.
