Football: Army Hillsborough County defensive player of the week (Week 10/Oct. 28)

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County defensive player of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

DL Koveyontez Balentine, Jr., King: Led the Lions with 10 tackles, four sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a win over Middleton. 

SS/LB Cyrus Chappell, Jr., Tampa Catholic: Finished with seven tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in a win over Jefferson. 

LB Keoni Denny, Sr., Sumner: Recorded a team-high 14 tackles and had two fumble recoveries in a win over Newsome. 

LB Davion Giles, Jr., Chamberlain: Recovered two fumbles, including one he returned for a touchdown in a win over Brandon. 

DL Adrian Hill, Jr., Steinbrenner: Finished with 10 tackles and three sacks in a win over Sickles. 

DL Aydan Holloway, Sr., Robinson: Recorded 10 tackles, two sacks and an interception in a win over Blake. 

LB Dominic Smith, Jr., Lennard: Returned an interception 70 yards for a touchdown in a win over Spoto. 

FS Johnnie Tyson, So., Tampa Bay Tech: Recorded eight tackles and had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a win over Armwood.
