Girls basketball: Tampa Bay area player of the week — Nov. 21-26

Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Alyssa Bongiovanni, Sr., Steinbrenner: Eclipsed the 1,000-point career plateau by leading the Warriors with 28 points, 17 rebounds, seven assists and five steals in a win over Space Coast. 

Aissa Diallo, Sr., Bloomingdale: Finished with 13 points and five rebounds in a win over Brooks DeBartolo. 

Desi Collins, Sr., River Ridge: Hit a Pasco County record nine 3-pointers in a win over Hernando. 

NiNi Davenport, Sr., Seffner Christian: Averaged 18 points, three rebounds and three assists in a wins over Sumner and Armwood at the Seffner Christian Shootout. 

Liv Fuller, Sr., Clearwater: Recorded 16 points, 12 rebounds and three steals in a win over Orlando Bishop Moore. 

Ashley Knox, Fr., Tampa Catholic: Led the Crusaders with 19 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a double overtime win over Sarasota Riverview. 

Jayda Pinder, Sr., Academy of the Holy Names: Led the Jaguars with 23 points and 11 steals in a win over Newsome.
