Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Nicole Carreno, Jr., Seffner Christian: Led the Crusaders with 17 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in a win over Sarasota Cardinal Mooney. 

Sophia Flair, Sr., Durant: Averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to Bloomingdale and a win over East Bay. 

Jewell Harwell, Jr., Sumner: Recorded a double-double (20 points, 10 rebounds) and had five steals in a win over Newsome.  

Beckham Hockley, Jr., Sickles: Averaged 18 points, four rebounds and four steals in wins over Gaither, Hillsborough and Blake. 

Tanner Strickland, Sr., Plant: Finished with 27 points, six rebounds and four steals in a win over Tampa Prep. 

Tabitha Vega, Jr., Bloomingdale: Had 10 rebounds in a win over Durant and six blocked shots in a win over Riverview.
