Here are the nominees for the Pasco County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Jovie Hayes, 8th, Zephyrhills Christian: Scored a team-high 19 points in a win over Universal Academy. 

Zaree Nichols, Jr., River Ridge: Averaged 11 points and three rebounds in wins over Nature Coast and 

Ariana Ruiz, Sr., Gulf: Finished with 11 points, including 3-of-4 on 3-pointers, to go along with six assists and five steals in a win over Anclote. 

Solei Sowell, Jr., Wiregrass Ranch: Led the Bulls with 18 points and nine rebounds in a win over East Lake.
