Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Alexis Benoit, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Averaged 13 points per game in wins over St. Petersburg Catholic and Hollins. 

Jayla Marke, Jr., Pinellas Park: Scored 19, including three 3-pointers, to beat Admiral Farragut for their first win of the season.

Mikayla Paschal, So., Largo: Averaged 22 points, eight rebounds and six steals in wins over Hollins, Seminole and Dunedin.  

Allevia Williams, Fr., Clearwater: Came up big in the fourth quarter to help the Tornadoes rally to beat Gibbs and remain undefeated against county competition. 

Alyssa Wright, Fr., Countryside: Finished with 16 points, five steals and four rebounds in a win over Palm Harbor University.
