Football: Army Pinellas County offensive player of the year (Classes 2-1M) — Dec. 22

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County football offensive player of the year in Classes 2-1 of the Metro Division, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

QB Anthony Colandrea, Sr., Lakewood: Finished with 3,794 yards (3,137 passing, 657 rushing) and 34 touchdowns (28 passing, six rushing). 

RB Sean Cuono, So., Calvary Christian: Rushed for 1,786 yards and 20 touchdowns for the Warriors this season. 

QB Jacob Drackett, Jr., Calvary Christian: Accounted for 2,896 yards (2,606 passing, 290 rushing) and 37 touchdowns (33 passing, four rushing). 

QB Jershuan Newton, So., Clearwater Central Catholic: Racked up 3,574 yards of offense (2,219 passing, 1,355 rushing) and 38 touchdowns (23 passing, 15 rushing). 

RB Lenwood Sapp, Sr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Rushed for 1,343 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Marauders.

WR Aviyon Smith-Mack, Sr., Lakewood: Finished with 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns receiving for the Spartans this season. 

ATH Zuri Watson, Sr., Northside Christian: Finished with 1,176 yards (832 rushing, 344 receiving) and 11 touchdowns (six rushing, five receiving).
