Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County defensive player of the year in Classes 4-3 of the Metro Division, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

DB Elmmanual Brooks, Sr., Osceola: Finished with 132 tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles. 

LB Adarius Hayes, Jr., Largo: Registered 121 tackles and six forced fumbles for the Packers this season. 

LB KJ Hutchinson, Sr., Northeast: Recorded 92 tackles and two sacks for the Vikings this season. 

LB Jerek Fields, Sr., Pinellas Park: Ended up with 104 tackles, four sacks and three interceptions for the Patriots this season.  

SS Nick Mirabella, Jr., East Lake: Recorded 86 tackles, four interceptions, two fumble recoveries and two blocked punts. 

LB Zayvion McCluster, Sr.,Largo: Finished with 117 tackles, two forced fumbles, a sack and an interception.

CB Garrett Rodriguez, Sr., East Lake: Ended up with 48 tackles and three interceptions for the Eagles this season.
