Girls basketball: Pinellas County player of the week — Dec. 26-31

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Sunday.

Robyn Cantwell, So., Keswick Christian: The tournament MVP hit a school-record nine 3-pointers in one game and led the Crusaders past St. Petersburg in the title game of the Keswick Suncoast Classic. 

Avery Chatman, Fr., East Lake: The all-tournament team selection scored 39 points, including 8-of-12 from 3-point range, in a win over Crystal River. 

Savannah Ferguson, So., Seminole: The all-tournament selection scored a team-high 29 points in a win over and helped the Warhawks take third place at the Keswick Suncoast Classic. 

Peyton Flournoy, So., Gibbs: Led the Gladiators to three straight victories at the Indian Rocks Holiday Tournament, including a 30-point performance against Alonso. 

Ace Sturdivant, Sr., Clearwater: Reached a major milestone by eclipsing the 1,000-point career plateau in a loss to Orlando Dr. Phillips.
