Boys basketball: Pinellas County player of the week — Jan. 2-7

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Zach Bingham, 8th, Keswick Christian: Ended up with 12 points, nine steals and five assists in a win over Bishop McLaughlin. 

Talon Brooks, So., Admiral Farragut: Averaged 18 points and five assists to lead the Blue Jackets to the final of its bracket at Dunedin’s Frank L. Griffin tournament. 

Jacob Daniels, So., Gibbs: Led the Gladiators with 13 points, six rebounds and three steals in a win over St. Andrews (Ga.).

Dylan Kramer, Sr., St. Petersburg: Made his presence known inside by finishing with a double-double (21 rebounds, 19 points) in a win over defending 6A state champion Stuart Martin County. 

Jeremy Perlin, Sr., Palm Harbor University: Helped the Hurricanes win their bracket at Dunedin’s Frank L. Griffin tournament. 

Dominic Sarigumba, Sr., Calvary Christian: Set the school record for most assists in a game with 12 in a win over Fort Myers Gateway Charter.
