Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Tylor Daniel, Sr., Central: Recorded 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over Sunlake. 

Jean Garcia, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Ended up with 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals in a win over Crystal River. 

Matt McDonald, Sr., Springstead: Finished with 16 points and three rebounds in a win over Weeki Wachee. 

Michael Savarese, Sr., Hernando: Grabbed 11 rebounds and scored seven points in a win over Nature Coast.
