Boys basketball: Pinellas County player of the week — Jan. 9-14

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Dominic Betancourt, Sr., Oldsmar Christian: Scored a team-high 13 points in a 49-48 win over Gibbs at the St. Petersburg Shootout. 

Quez Curry Jr., Sr., St. Petersburg: Hit a pair of buzzer beaters to lead the Green Devils to a win over IMG White.  

Justin Kruszewski, Sr., East Lake: Set the school record for most points in a game with 43 in a win over Canterbury.  

David Larkins, Jr., Lakewood: Led the Spartans with 17 points and four rebounds in a win over Lake Wales at the St. Petersburg Shootout. 

Adrian Moore, Jr., Largo: Eclipsed the 1,000-point career plateau last week.  

Nicholas Pouliot, Sr., Countryside: Nearly averaged a double-double (12 points, nine rebounds) in wins over Clearwater, Boca Ciega, Tarpon Springs and Mitchell.
