Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County team of the year in Classes 4A-2A, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Calvary Christian: The Warriors, who won the Class 3A state title last year, had another solid season, winning a district title and advancing to the region semifinals.
Clearwater Central Catholic: The Marauders got through a brutal region to win their first state title in eight years, culminating with a sweep of previously undefeated and nationally ranked Miami Westminster Christian in the Class 3A final.
Indian Rocks Christian: The Golden Eagles went 15-10 and reached the Class 2A region quarterfinals.
Keswick Christian: The Crusaders finished 22-7 and advanced to the Class 2A region finals, where they lost to eventual state champion Naples Seacrest Country Day.
Shorecrest: The Chargers went 21-4 and lost in the semifinals of the Class 3A, District 10 tournament.
