Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County volleyball team of the year in Classes 7A-5A, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday.
East Lake: The Eagles finished 21-7, reached the Pinellas County Athletic Conference and Class 7A, District 9 title matches and advanced to the region quarterfinals.
Osceola: The Warriors went 21-8, won the Pinellas County Athletic Conference and Class 5A, District 9 titles and reached the region final.
Palm Harbor University: The Hurricanes ended up 20-6, a six-match improvement from the previous year, and reached the Class 7A region quarterfinals.
St. Petersburg: The Green Devils went 21-8 and reached the Class 5A region semifinals.
Seminole: The Warhawks finished 11-7 and advanced to the Class 5A region quarterfinals.
