Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday.

Austin Nicholson, Jr., Springstead: Finished with 11 rebounds and eight points in a win over rival Nature Coast. 

Jaleel Thrower, Sr., Central: Ended up with 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Weeki Wachee. 

Josiah Wright, Jr., Hernando: Recorded 16 points and seven rebounds in a win over Crystal River.
