Here are the nominees for the Pasco County girls soccer player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Samantha Barnes, Jr., Sunlake: Made a save and recorded a shutout in a 2-0 victory over Wharton in the semifinals of the Class 6A, District 9 tournament. 

Maliya Maldonado, So., Land O’ Lakes: Assisted on two goals and scored one of her own in a win over East Lake in the semifinals of the Class 6A, District 9 tournament. 

Alexandria McCann, So., Fivay: Led the Falcons with four goals in a win over Zephyrhills in the quarterfinals of the Class 5A, District 7 tournament.
