No. 8 Freedom (6-8) at Daytona Beach Seabreeze (13-7), 7

The Patriots tough regular season schedule, which included five matches against teams that made the playoffs, paid off in the 5A-8 district tournament. 

Freedom recorded a pair of shutouts against Blake (5-0) and Brandon (2-0) to take home the title and gain some momentum heading into the postseason. 

But it will not be easy. The Sandcrabs are ranked No. 6 in the class and have outscored opponents by a combined 71-29.

The Royal Knights are looking to rebound after losing their last two matches. 

In order to turn things around, River Ridge knows it has to produce on offense. After all, the Royal Knights have been shut out in five of their seven losses. 

The Bloodhounds, winners of five straight, are ranked No. 7 in the class by MaxPreps. They have outscored opponents this season by a combined 90-19.

After starting the season 11-3, the Green Devils have struggled, losing five of their last seven matches. 

One of the wins during that stretch was against Osceola in the 5A-9 district semifinals, a victory that helped St. Petersburg get in the playoffs with an at-large berth. 

Going on the road will be a challenge for the Green Devils. 

The Tritons, ranked No. 4 in the class by MaxPreps, are undefeated at home (6-0).

The Warhawks, winners of nine straight matches, are currently one of the hottest teams in the area. 

They kept their streak going by beating Northeast 4-0 and St. Petersburg 2-1 for the 5A-9 district title. 

After beating Naples Barron Collier twice in the regular season, Naples lost to its rival in penalty kicks in the 5A-12 district final.
