Here are the nominees for the top returning softball pitcher in Hernando County. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday.

Wren Anholt, Sr., Nature Coast: Went 9-6 last season with a 4.63 ERA and had 58 strikeouts in 93 ⅔ innings.  

Ava Braswell, Jr., Hernando: Finished last season with a 15-3 record and had a 1.52 ERA with 107 strikeouts in 115 ⅓ innings. 

McKenna Carr, Sr., Nature Coast: Ended up going 8-4 last season with a 5.89 ERA and had 42 strikeouts in 63 innings. 

Savannah Ellis, Sr., Hernando: Went 10-2 last season with a 2.33 ERA and had 71 strikeouts in 54 innings. 

Ava Miller, So., Springstead: Ended up going 17-6 last season with a 3.25 ERA and had 85 strikeouts in 142 innings.
