Here are the nominees for the Pasco County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Liv Litaker, Sr., River Ridge: Recorded 16 points, including 4-for-4 on free throws and had eight rebounds and three blocks in a win over Wesley Chapel in the Class 5A, District 6 tournament.  

Lily Meier, Jr., Land O’ Lakes: Finished with 22 points, two rebounds and two steals in a win over Wiregrass Ranch in the Class 6A, District 4 final.

Rebecca Nieves, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Grabbed 12 rebounds and scored six points in a win over Sunlake in the semifinals of the Class 6A, District 4 tournament. 

Breanna Ortega, Sr., Anclote: Scored a team-high 27 points and surpassed the 2,000-point career plateau in a win over Crystal River in the Class 4A, District 9 final.
