Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Michael Savarese, Sr., Hernando: Finished with 26 points and nine rebounds in a win over Pasco.

Aidan Smith, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Recorded 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals in a win over Gulf.  

Divine Torain, Sr., Springstead: Scored a team-high 30 points in an overtime loss to River Ridge.
