Girls soccer: Hillsborough County player of the week — Feb. 7-10

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County girls soccer player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Abigail Mendoza, Jr., Cambridge Christian: Had a goal and an assist in a win over Sarasota Out-of-Door Academy in the Class 2A region quarterfinals. 

Isabella Murphy, Jr., Tampa Catholic: Finished with a combined four goals and two assists in wins over Sarasota Cardinal Mooney and Orlando Lake Highland Prep in the first two rounds of the Class 3A playoffs. 

Caroline Ohme, Jr., Newsome: Assisted on two goals and scored one of her own in a win over Durant in the Class 7A region quarterfinals. 

Aaliyah Pitts, Jr., Steinbrenner: Recorded two goals and an assist in a win over North Port in the Class 7A region quarterfinals. 

Adele Politz, Sr., Academy of the Holy Names: Made seven saves and recorded a shutout in a win over Lemon Bay in the Class 4A region quarterfinals. 

Mikayla Wilkinson, Jr., Sickles: Scored the lone goal of the match off an assist from Danielle Musry in a win over Mitchell in the Class 6A region quarterfinals. 

Izzy Youssef, Fr., Berkeley Prep: Led the Buccaneers with two goals in a win over The First Academy in the Class 3A region quarterfinals.
