Osceola at East Lake, 5

A rematch from last year’s opener that the Eagles won 9-8. Both got off to strong starts this week. The Warriors opened their season with a 4-3 victory over Berkeley Prep. East Lake also was successful in its opener, cruising to a 13-1 win over Sunlake. 

Land O’ Lakes at Mitchell, 5

The host Mustangs won both of last year’s meetings, including the quarterfinals of the Class 2A, District 10 tournament. Each team won its opener this week. Mitchell routed Cypress Creek 22-2. The Gators got past Wesley Chapel 9-7.
