Boys soccer: Tampa Bay area player of the week — Feb. 8-11

Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area boys soccer player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Zacary Arcidiacono, Sr., Nature Coast: Finished with a goal and an assist in a win over Cocoa Space Coast in the Class 4A region quarterfinals. 

Pedro Cruz, So., Tampa Catholic: Had a pair of goals in the first two rounds of the playoffs, including the lone goal of the match in a win over Lake Highland Prep in the Class 3A region semifinals. 

Jacob Dennis, Jr., Newsome: Assisted on two goals in a win over Sarasota Riverview in the Class 7A region quarterfinals.

Skyler Habib, Jr., Tampa Prep: Assisted on three goals and scored one of his own in a win over Cape Coral Oasis in the Class 3A region quarterfinals.  

Adan McGlynn, Sr., Plant: Ended up with a goal and an assist in wins over Lake Nona and Naples Gulf Coast in the first two rounds of the Class 7A playoffs. 

Ritvik Nallapati, Sr., King: Scored the lone goal of the match off an assist from Rikhil Venkataperumal in a win over Robinson in the Class 4A region quarterfinals.

Aaron Ristorcelli, Sr., Osceola: Scored the Warriors’ lone goal in regulation that helped them eventually beat Naples Golden Gate in penalty kicks in the Class 5A region semifinals.  

Jorge Suarez-Lozano, Sr., Sunlake: Recorded both of the Seahawks’ goals in a win over Palmetto in the Class 6A region quarterfinals. 

Patrick Wiley, So., Jesuit: Led the Tigers with three goals in a win over Wesley Chapel in the Class 5A region semifinals. 

Logan Young, Sr., Bloomingdale: Scored the Bulls’ lone goal in regulation that helped them eventually beat Mitchell in penalty kicks in the Class 6A region quarterfinals.
