Last year, the host Panthers reached the state semifinals and the Warriors made the region quarterfinals in Class 2A. Now, Steinbrenner comes in with a better record and will try to keep its perfect start intact by exacting revenge from last season’s loss to Plant. 

East Lake (2-1) at Alonso (2-1), 7:30

A solid early season test between a pair of programs on the rise. The host Ravens lone loss was by a goal to Newsome in the opener. The Eagles bounced back from a loss to Osceola to beat St. Petersburg and climb above .500.
