What to watch
Osceola (2-0) at Gibbs (2-1), 7
Defense should rule in this matchup. The Warriors recorded shutouts over Dunedin (31-0) and Countryside (26-0) to start the season. The Gladiators, meanwhile, have given up just seven points in their first three games.
Sickles (2-0) at Alonso (2-0), 7:30
The Gryphons have been impressive, beating Jefferson and Brandon by a combined 44-0 to start the season. Now, Sickles faces its biggest test against the title-contending Ravens. After escaping with a one-point win over Riverview in the season opener, Alonso has cruised to wins over Gaither (40-6) and Tarpon Springs (34-6).
Riverview (0-2) at Lennard (3-0), 7:30
Pay no attention to the records. The series is split (1-1) between the rivals. Though winless, the Sharks have played tough against a quality competition, losing to Alonso and Bloomingdale by a combined eight points. The host Longhorns got off to a strong start, winning their first three games by a combined 51-20.
Steinbrenner (2-0) at Leto (2-0), 7:30
Warriors coach Gregg Puskas can hit a major milestone tonight. If Steinbrenner can remain undefeated, Puskas will become the sixth flag football coach in Hillsborough County history to reach 100 wins. Expect a defensive battle. The Warriors have posted consecutive shutouts to start the season. The host Falcons, led by a ball-hawking secondary, allowed just 18 points in their perfect start.
