Baseball: Pinellas County pitcher of the Week — March 6-11

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Sunday. 

Andreas Alvarez, Jr., Northside Christian: Threw five scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out 10 in a win over Pace. 

Ryland Bozenhard, Sr., Hollins: Led the Royals by throwing a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a win over St. Petersburg. 

Brandon Dees, So., Palm Harbor University: Threw a combined 6 ⅔ innings, allowing two runs (one earned) while striking out six in wins over Countryside and Steinbrenner. 

Tim Fruendel, Sr., Tarpon Springs: Set a school record with 19 strikeouts and threw seven shutout innings, allowing two hits, in a loss to Carrollwood Day that lasted eight innings.  

Jacob Levesque, Jr., Keswick Christian: Hurled four perfect innings with 12 strikeouts in a win over Grace Christian. 

Ace Williams, Jr., Northeast: Threw a three-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts in a win over Boca Ciega that lasted five innings because of the mercy rule.
