This is a solid pitching matchup featuring the Warhawks’ Lilly Johnson and the Green Devils’ Sarah Blackett. Both teams after coming off more than a week layoff from spring break. 

Wiregrass Ranch (6-1) at Gaither (8-2), 7

The Bulls, winners of five straight games, are ranked No. 9 in Class 6A by MaxPreps. The host Cowboys, who are coming off consecutive wins over Lakeland George Jenkins and Palmetto, have an offense that is averaging more than 10 runs per game. 

Mitchell (4-2) at River Ridge (6-4), 8

This is the first of two meetings between the Pasco County rivals. The Mustangs are returning after a 13-day layoff because of spring break. The host Royal Knights spent their break at the Bay Made Invitational, going 2-2.
