Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the year. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Canyon Anderson, Sr., Nature Coast: Steady performer finished with 13.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.  

Caden Bergantino, Sr., Central: The Gulf Coast 8 player of the year averaged 15.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. 

Braden Joyner, Jr., Central: Averaged 12.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.  

Isaac Priester, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Led the Hornets by averaging 15 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.  

Divine Torain, Sr., Springstead: Ended up averaging 15.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
