Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys soccer player of the year. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday.  

Murphy Anderson, Sr., Springstead: Recorded eight goals and two assists this season. 

Zacary Arcidiacono, Sr., Nature Coast: The Co-Gulf Coast 8 player of the year finished with 13 goals and 12 assists. 

Hunter Bishop, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Ended up with six goals and three assists this season. 

Ryan Difrank, Jr., Nature Coast: The stellar defender had two goals and two assists. 

Christian Gies, So., Springstead: Ended up with 15 goals and five assists this season. 

Daniel Greenwald, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Specialized in shutting opponents down as a defender. 

Raul Maldonado, So., Springstead: The Co-Gulf Coast 8 player of the year finished with 32 goals and 12 assists. 

Cole Pretorius, Jr., Nature Coast: Made 105 saves and recorded eight shutouts.  

Hunter Pye, Jr., Nature Coast: Recorded 13 goals and seven assists this past season.
