Flag football: Tampa Bay area player of the week — March 20-26

Here are the nominees for the flag football player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Brittney Beals, Jr.,Sumner: The top target in the passing game had two touchdowns to lead the Stingrays to wins over Jensen Beach and Pine Ridge at a tournament in Windermere. 

Grayce Bird, Jr., Lennard: Finished with a combined 12 catches for 137 yards and three touchdowns on offense and had seven tackles (flag pulls) and an interception on defense in a win over Robinson and a loss to Alonso.

Emma Conciatori, Jr., East Lake: Finished with a combined 15 catches for 153 yards and three touchdowns in wins over Clearwater and Countryside. 

Kasee Grant, Sr., Hernando: Picked off three passes in a win over Pasco-Hernando. 

Eryn Klaus, Jr., Alonso: Recorded a combined 14 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns on offense and had 13 tackles (flag pulls) and two interceptions on defense in wins over in wins over Lennard, Port St. Lucie Centennial and Jensen Beach. 

Natalia Quiles, Sr., Riverview: Ended up with a combined 11 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns on offense and had nine tackles and two pass breakups on defense in wins over East Bay and Steinbrenner. 

Tanner Strickland, Sr., Plant: Finished with a combined 170 yards receiving and scored 30 points on offense and had 20 tackles (flag pulls) in four games.
