Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County softball pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Maria Brooks, Sr., Newsome: Tossed a four-hitter, allowing one unearned run while striking out nine in a win over Sumner. 

Mimi Gooden, Sr., Gaither: Threw a two-hitter, allowing one earned run while striking out 16 in a win over Wiregrass Ranch. 

Angelina Ricciardi, Sr., Tampa Catholic: Finished with a four-hitter, allowing one earned run while striking out nine in a win over Calvary Christian. 

Elana Roush, Jr., East Bay: Ended up throwing a one-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts in a win over Jefferson. 

Saige Sampson, Jr., Steinbrenner: Hurled a no-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead the Warriors to a 10-0 win over Northeast at the Lady Canes Spring Invitational. 

Savana Woods, Jr., Lennard: Threw a no-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in a win over Armwood that lasted four innings because of the mercy rule.
