Here are the nominees for the Hernando County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Alexis Adelman, Jr., Springstead: Had three hits, including two doubles, and finished with four RBIs and three runs in a win over Hudson. 

Carrollann McClelland, Jr., Hernando: Led the Leopards by going 4-for-4 with a homer, a double, six RBIs and four runs scored in a win over Nature Coast in the opening round of the Leopard Slam. 

Kaylee Reese, Jr., Central: Went a combined 4-for-5 with a triple, a double and four RBIs in a win over Bishop McLaughlin. 

Addisyn Slocum, 7th, Hernando Christian: Ended up going a combined 5-for-8 with a triple, two doubles, five RBIs and two runs in wins over Lakeside Christian and Weeki Wachee.
